Our founder Claire recently visited our factory in Portugal.

Claire regularly makes factory visits as part of the design and production process - we like to keep close to the whole process from samples to production through to sign off and final delivery.

Our factories are all family businesses based in Europe. They invest in the best new technology as well as using traditional methods passed down from generation to generation.

Cru Sneakers - Hand Finishing

Everyone of our Cru Sneakers are finished by hand to give them the distressed, vintage look. That's what we mean when we say our shoes are made with love as so much care and attention is taken during the production processes.

Leather Sourcing

One of Claire's favourite parts of the process!  Choosing the leather styles and colours.. shes' like a kid in a sweet shop!

So much choice than can inspire the design or help realise an idea that already exists.

We only select high grade European leathers for our products. We believe in a slow fashion approach; buy better, buy fewer and love more.

Into the detail

Pom poms, beads and tassels. So many trims to choose from in every colour! There's a lot of thought and testing that goes into the embellishments that might work for every design. We spend a lot of time searching for the right pieces to make the shoes come to life.
