A LIMITED EDITION COLLABORATION IN AID OF THE KING’S TRUST
As the locked-down summer of 2020 stretches in front of us, and holidays seem a distant dream, we took a moment to look back a few months to the launch of a very special pair of Air & Grace trainers, that from their initial conception, were all about spreading some joy, and in the end made a huge difference to those needing that positive boost just a little more than most.
Sending messages of positivity and support has never been so important. So, when the lovely Gaby Roslin came to us with an idea to “spread the joy” of her love of walking in aid of The King’s Trust, we jumped at the chance.
Born out of Gaby's love for our classic Copeland trainer and her passion for bright uplifting colours, the limited edition style featured multi coloured neon highlights.
For every pair purchased we committed to donating £50 to The King’s Trust, and Gaby generously waived her design fee for this project to ensure the maximum donation amount possible.
The day of launch quickly arrived. We had originally planned a launch party, but due to COVID-19 this had to be cancelled. So, a virtual launch it was! The trainers went live at 8am, and we were blown away by the response. In just a few hours, our Gaby x Air & Grace limited edition collaboration had SOLD OUT!
It meant so much to the team at Air & Grace to be able to #spreadthejoy through the sale of these trainers, and support such an amazing cause. We hadn’t anticipated such a HUGE response so quickly, so for the rest of that week, we donated 10% of all our website sales to The King’s Trust in order to continue our support.
In total, we raised an amazing £9250 for The King’s Trust.

“We were thrilled to be working with Air & Grace, particularly at a time when young people were been particularly impacted by COVID-19. Funds raised helped support young people during uncertain times. From helping young people to keep learning to helping them re-build their confidence, reskill or find a job, funds helped to ensure no one was left behind. We thank Air & Grace and all customers who helped raise funds for young people at this unprecedented time.”
From all of us at Air & Grace, thank YOU for making this collaboration such a success. It means the world to us, and everyone who benefited from this support.
